Tips On Saving Gas

With gas prices on the rise, the following tips can assist you in saving money:

1. Drive smoothly. This means to avoid sudden accelerations and braking. 2. Don't idle your car for long periods of time. 3. If possible, avoid turning your air conditioner on in traffic jams. 4. Regularly have your car checked at the dealer or a service station that you trust. 5. Never add any fuel additive to your car. 6. Periodically, check the air pressure in your tires in accordance to the manufacturer's specifications--as stated in the driver's manual. Also, make certain that your wheels are perfectly balanced and aligned. 7. While driving, keep the windows closed.
